The HX400IS is IPX8 submersible to 4.92 ft. (1.5 m) for up to 30 minutes and provides selectable 5W or 1W transmit power. It comes pre-programmed with USA, Canadian, and International Marine VHF channels along with NOAA and Canadian weather channels.

For demanding work environments, the HX400IS also supports up to 40 dealer-programmable Land Mobile Radio channels and features a built-in noise-canceling microphone, voice scrambler, powerful 700mW speaker, and bright LED distress strobe.

NOAA Weather Channels & Weather Alert

Dedicated weather functionality provides access to 10 NOAA and Canadian weather channels.

The HX400IS can also monitor weather channels and provide an audible alert when applicable storm advisories are received.

Noise-Canceling Microphone

A built-in noise-canceling microphone is designed to improve transmitted voice clarity in noisy and windy environments.
